The APA Formatting and Style Guide from the OWL at Purdue : Purdue University library lists APA 6th edition examples. 

The Writing Center from the University of Wisconson at Madison has APA 6th edition examples. The JOURNAL examples show the DOI in the citations.

  • KnightCite (Provided by Hekman Library, Calvin College) - When you first connect, be sure to select APA as your Citation Style, then select the format that you are trying to cite.
  • Reference Point Software - templates for common word processing programs
  • Slate Citation Machine - free from the Landmark Project; assists with citation creation. (Tip: check for correct format, i.e. capitalization of initial word of a title but no capitalization of subsequent words).

 

Automatic Citations- USE CAUTION

It saves time using the CITE button in the Ebsco databases to gather your citations. Please take NOTE:  They are not always EXACLTY correct according the the APA guidelines. 

It is recommended that you use the Cite button to compile your citations and then use the APA guidelines to make sure each citation is correct.
