Welcome!

This guide offers links to resources you might need for answering questions like "Who was the president in 1954" or "How may people lived in Columbus in 2005" or "Who is my state representative" or "What time is it in Australia".

Use the links on this page to access library resources. Visit the drop-down menu above to access lists of free online resources. If you don't see something you need, let me know.

Always Start with the Library!

Your library spends money on books just for you & the work you do at Otterbein. Some of these books are reference books, traditionally used to answer a basic question; sometimes used to gain an understanding of a new concept. In addition to the resources available from the library, there are a lot of free online resources where you can find reference material. Using this guide will help you find both library resources & reliable online material.

Click here to view a 30-second video demonstrating how to search the library's catalog for reference books. Use the links below to access online reference books provided to you by the library.
