This site is a counterpart to Where are the Children? Healing the impacts of the Residential Schools, a touring exhibition that explores the history and impacts of Canada’s Residential School System through Survivor stories, archival photographs, and documents, curated by Iroquois artist Jeff Thomas.

Examines the truth and reconciliation commission (TRC) proceedings and examines "a recent trend in TRCs involves a shift away from the exercise of judicial powers and the quest for justice and towards more concern with affirming the experience of victims or ‘Survivors’." This has created gaps in knowledge about perpetrators, while also giving voice to people that were marginalized.
