Library Services for Scholarly Communication

  • Work with faculty, students, and staff to identify low or no-cost textbook options. 
  • Assist liaison area with utilizing library resources
  • Advocate for open access and sustainable scholarly communication​ and keep up to dates on changes to the scholarly communication workflows​
  • Promote new avenues of scholarly communication such as open-access publishing, journal hosting, etc.
  • Copyright and Fair Use -Understand the right of fair use to promote the preservation, access, and discovery of materials in research and instruction.
  • Digital publishing -  Incorporate faculty/student scholarship into the Digital Commons @ Otterbein for accreditation, program review, retention, and recruitment.
