While not a database, Zotero helps you keep track of articles you've found in your research that you may want to use in a project or paper. It also allows you to cite in a multitude of styles (APA, MLA, Sociological, etc) and create in-text citations. This is a free tool from Mozilla, and you'll need to create your own account.
