Q: What hours are the library pickup lockers available?
- The library pickup lockers are available 24/7! This means that you can get your materials even after the library closes. Just enter the vestibule on the Main St Side of the building.
Q: How long will my items stay in the lockers?
- Your items will stay in the lockers for 11 days, the same amount of time they'd stay on the hold shelf. You will receive reminder emails from the lockers stating that you have items to pick up. When the items are removed, you will get an email from the lockers saying that your items have been returned.
Q: What if I've requested an item for pickup at the hold shelf but want my items to be available in the lockers instead?
- Easy! Just call the library at 614-823-1215, option 4, or email circ@otterbein.edu and let them know. The library staff will place your items in the locker and you will get an email with the pickup instructions.
Q: I got an email saying my item can not be picked up in the lockers and I should ask for help at the Customer Service desk. Why can't I get my materials in the lockers?
- Most likely, your account has accrued fines that has blocked your account. You will need to ask a Circulation Supervisor for help to pick up your items.
Q: Why won't the scanner recognize my QR Code?
- While the scanner usually does not have problems recognizing the QR code, you might need to enlarge the QR code on your phone's screen.
