1. In the top-right corner of the Zotero website (zotero.org/download/), click Register. You can get to this place from the Zotero homepage by clicking the "download" button.
2. Fill out the form with your desired username, email address, and password. Complete the Captcha, then click Register.
3. Follow the prompts to verify your email address and log in to your account.
On a public computer, such as in the library, we have the following recommendations.
1.Use Zotero Web Library: Log into your library online at zotero.org
2. Add Browser Extension: This does not require an administrator account. Go to Zotero Downloads (link below) and add the connector for the browser you need.
3. Zotero App: It is NOT recommended to use the Zotero App unless you are very familiar with the documentation. Your Zotero data has to be set up to sync and you have to wipe that data before you log off. If you do it incorrectly, you can lose all of your data.
4.Word Extension: Although helpful, this is not available on public computers.
