Launched in 2002 as a successor to an earlier pan-African organization, the AU is comprised of 55 of the continent's states. This organization seeks to focus on increased cooperation and integration of African states to drive Africa’s growth and economic development.

Initially started in 1964, "to promote the sustainable economic development and social progress of regional member countries, both individually and jointly. Meeting the needs of regional member countries remains the Bank’s core focus."

Made up of 57 member states, mostly in Europe. Looks at issues of democratization and security related concerns

Consisting of 48 member countries, it provides financial and technical support to national and sub-national governments and other entities in the region.
