Biography

Also see: Nemesio Atuñez (1918-1993) was born in Santiago and established an international presence throughout his lifetime. Most famous for his cultural and political murals in various Chilean cities, Atuñez has also lent his hand to film and television. He served as director of both the Chile’s Contemporary Art Museum and National Fine Arts Museum.
