SEARCH STRATEGIES:
Allied Health is made up of many different health and medical fields.
Try a SUBJECT SEARCH with the phrase "physical therapy" to see listings of titles that Otterbein owns. Subject Searching uses a "controlled vocabulary" the books you find will be "about" the phrase or term that you search with. Other Subject terms to use:
Occupational therapy
Respiratory therapy
Nutritionists use "Diet Therapy"
X-Ray and Radiography use the phrase "Diagnostic Imaging"
Try a KEYWORD SEARCH. Keyword searches use uncontrolled vocaulary much like a Google Search. Sometimes the items you find in a keyword search will not be what you are looking for and sometimes you will find the perfect book.
Athletic training as a keyword search will bring up several books to browse.
If you are not finding enough books here at Otterbein try a search in the OHIOLINK database. Click on the "search Ohio Link" button in OPAL. You may request/borrow items through OhioLink with your Cardinal Card. OhioLink will ask you for your name, institution and barcode number which is the 7777+ number on your card. Enter all 16 digits.
OHIO Link Borrowing usually takes 3-5 business days to get the book delivered to Otterbein and you may be able to renew books up to 4 times.
