ePortfolios with Digication at Otterbein

Otterbein Alumni will be able to keep their accounts for free for as long as Digication's ePortfolio platform continues to be used at the university.  Even if the University transitions to a different ePortfolio system, current and former students as well as alumni can keep their ePortfolios by opening a paid account with Digication.

To get free alumni access, you must add a personal (non-Otterbein) email address to your ePortfolio account.  You will then be able to log in to your Digication account using your personal email address. Follow the steps below:

1. Before you leave Otterbein, open a Web browser and log in to ePortfolio using your Otterbein username and password (otterbein.digication.com). The ePortfolio Home page will open.
    
2. On the ePortfolio Home page, click the Welcome, [Name] link (at top right). The Edit User Profile page will open.
   Note: This link is available at the same location (top, right) on every page of the ePortfolio system, after you log in.
    
3. In the Edit User Profile page, in the Notification Email field, enter your personal (non-Otterbein) email address and at the bottom of the page, click Save.
    
4. Log out of ePortfolio and fom that point forward, your ePortfolio account will be associated with your personal email address instead of your Otterbein username. Before you can log in with your personal email, you will have to reset your password in ePortfolio. Follow the instructions at right.

Follow the instructions below to reset your ePortfolio password and log in with your personal (non-Otterbein) email address. Please note that unless you forget your new password, you will only have to do this once.

1. Open a Web browser and go to the ePortfolio Login page (otterbein.digication.com).
    
2. On the login page, click the Alumni/Guest Login button. The Alumni/Guest Login panel will open.
    
3. At the bottom of the Alumni/Guest Login panel, click the Forgot your password? link. The Reset Password page will open.
    
4. On the Reset Password page, enter the personal email address you added to your ePortfolio account and click the Send me my password button.
    
5. Check your email for a message with instructions on how to update your account information. Once you do so, you will be able to log in to ePortfolio with your personal email address.
