In this year the Resident will do onboarding of their primary roles and acclimate to the campus and academic library setting. The focus of Year 1 will include Reference and Public Services work, library liaison responsibilities (such as library instruction and collection development), Springshare products administration, and University engagement and library advocacy work.
This work will continue through the following two years. Depending on the Resident’s interest and background, they may begin Year 2 work early.
