Welcome to the Courtright Memorial Library

What the Library can do for you!

Library Accessibility

Building Entrance

  • While our Grove St entrance is a standard push door, the Main St entrance to our building includes automatic doors and as such, users with mobility aids may find the Main St entrance easier for them to use.

Low Vision Terminal

  • Our first floor has a single PC terminal designed for low vision users. This terminal is located near the stairs. At this terminal users will find a large print color contrast keyboard and JAWS screen reading software. While this terminal can be used by anyone, users expressing a need for the low vision accommodations available at this terminal will be given priority.

Accessible Height Tables and Computers

  • All public computer terminals on the first floor and those in our second floor open air computer lab should be of an accessible height.
  • Users with a wheelchair should also find all of our first floor tables and seating options to be accessible with the exception of our booth seating.

Restrooms

  • The OtterBean Cafe area, just outside the main library entrance, contains two single use all-gender restrooms that are also handicap accessible.
