The library is located in the center of campus, but perhaps more importantly, we're only a phone call, email, or chat session away. As a member of the Otterbein Community, you get access to a lot. This guide will walk you through it. Among our services:
knowledgeable professional librarians available almost all hours the library is open
research assistance and project support
electronic access to hundreds of databases, thousands of eBooks, and journal, magazine, and newspaper titles, from any computer
access to 150,000 physical books, CD's, and DVD's in our library, plus 50,000,000 more through our membership in OhioLINK
free wifi, scanning, copying, and printing (costs including in your papercut)
In Spring 2025, we will be introducing a new library management system, Alma, and a new discovery layer, Primo, which will replace our current systems, Sierra and the EbscoHost discovery layer, known commonly as “OneSearch”. Alma and Primo will refresh how library users interact with our collection so please bear with us as we take this big step towards improving how we serve you and the Otterbein community.
