APA Style -6th edition

This guide provides resources for learning how to cite your sources using APA Style guidelines.

Used this format to cite notes from a lecture (e.g. PowerPoint slides provided by your instructor).
If you want to cite something from a lecture that was not included in a set of lecture notes, you would use the format for a personal communication (see the format for an interview, for example).
General Format

  • Reference list citation: Author's surname, Initial(s). (Year). Lecture title [Format]. Retrieved from University Course Name site.
